Making yummy food while supporting good causes.

This YouTube channel is supporting the NGO’s described below morally for now and financially when the channel reaches pre-set milestones.

The NGO’s
1. Beyond Innocence Foundation. This is an NGO in Taita, Kenya that provides sanctuary for young children who have been victims of child and sexual abuse.
2. Stichting Afropeans. This is an NGO that seeks to celebrate all Europeans of African origin in Europe and to highlight their ongoing contributions to both the African and European societies. (I have to declare a personal interest here. I am the founder and chairperson of Stichting Afropeans)

The pre-set milestones.
1. When this channel reaches 1,000 subscribers, I will put a link to both NGO’s in all the subsequent videos so that you can go to their websites for more detailed information about their work etc.
2. When this channel hits the 10,000 subscribers threshold, I will make a personal cash donation to both NGO’s!
3. When this channel reaches 100,000 subscribers, I will personally go to Kenya to cook for the whole accommodation where those children are living in Taita for a week. If I can’t I will provide the money to make that happen.

One other pledge.
From the moment my first 50 videos are posted, I will be making 1 meal a week for 20 less privileged people in my neighbourhood.

Finally, this channel is dedicated to all the great Africans who came before and inspire us. As a student of history, I will be honouring these great Africans with every new food I create or recreate. This is my pledge.
Please subscribe to the channel and help us grow!
Let’s cook and eat!
